Intro

What drives me as a professional

As a student at Full Sail University, I have developed a strong, well-rounded knowledge of the camera and lighting departments. I have worked in a variety of different settings including film, live production, run and gun videography, and broadcast.

Core Expertise

Lights, camera, action
01

Camera Framing

Camera framing is a fundamental aspect of visual storytelling, influencing the emotional impact, engagement, and overall quality of a video. I have practiced proper framing and composition in both professional and personal projects.

02

Camera Support Systems

During my time as a videographer, I have had the opportunity to use an abundance of professional camera support systems. Equipment such as dollys, gimbles, tripods, jib, handheld and shoulder rigs, etc.

03

Focus Pulling

Focus pulling is an essential aspect of camera operation. Focus is what guides your audience's attention and helps tell the story. I have spent many hours understanding camera logistics, including focus and depth of field.

04

Shaping of Light

Shaping of light is crucial for proper exposure and depth. Light adds character to the subjects and their surroundings. I have lit many sets for large and small scale productions, using a variety of lighting equipment and techniques.

05

Camera Switching

Camera switching helps set the pace of a live production. The job of a technical director is to hold the attention of the audience. I have operated several different switcher boards in live production, displaying video and media to the audience.

06

Light Rigging

Lighting is what helps bring video to life, adding detail and intrigue to the subject. During my time on set, I have logged many hours in both the lighting and electric departments. I have assembled many lighting plots and layouts for a variety of directors. This includes running cables through networks as well as power distribution.
